Completion of Salat
Muslims complete Salat by worshiping God 5 times a day in the manner and form taught by Muhammad. The 5 daily prayers consist of 2,3, or 4 units with a different Qur'anic recitation.
Islamic Holy Days / Celebrations
Muharram is The Islamic New Year.
Eid-al-Fitr is the ending of the celebration of 29-39 days of Ramadan and is ended with a feast. Eid-al-Fitr begins a three day holiday. During thsi time of celebration, Muslims are encouraged to dress in best possible condition of clothes. Even though Ramadan comes to an end, Muslims prayer is to still be continued.
Eid al-Adha is the festival of sacrifice holiday.
Mawlid al-Nabi holiday. This holiday celebrates Prophet Muhammad which was the founder of Islam. It is the 12th day of the Rabi month in the Islamic calender.
